What we collect

To provide the service, we store:

  • Email address — used for authentication and account-related notifications.
  • Tableau Cloud site URL — the address of the site you connect.
  • Connected App credentials (Client ID, Secret ID, Secret Value) — the secret is stored encrypted at rest in Supabase Vault and only accessed by server-side Stagger code to authenticate with Tableau's API on your behalf.
  • Refresh schedule metadata — task names, schedules, and status from your Tableau site. This is the data Stagger analyzes and displays on your dashboard.

What we don't access

Stagger never reads or stores your workbook content, datasource data, dashboard visuals, or any data within your Tableau extracts. We only read refresh task metadata (names, schedules, statuses) and write schedule configuration changes when you explicitly apply them. Your underlying business data stays in Tableau.

How we use your data

Solely to provide the Stagger service: analyzing your refresh schedule, displaying it on your dashboard, and applying schedule changes you request. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond operating the product.

Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors to run Stagger:

  • Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the United States.
  • Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Vercel — hosting and web analytics.

Analytics

We collect anonymous page view data without cookies. No personal tracking, no cross-site fingerprinting, no advertising profiles.

Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted in the United States. Connected App secrets are encrypted at rest, and access to them is restricted to server-side Stagger operations. Data is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS) at all times. For more detail on credential handling, API scopes, and revoking access, see our Security page.

Your data

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your credentials, refresh snapshots, and billing links from our systems. Prefer we handle it? Email staggersupport@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes — like collecting new categories of data or sharing data with new third parties — we'll notify you by email before the change takes effect.
